Daily bulletin

The daily bulletin provides daily maps of Essential Ocean Variables and derived variables for the last available days in different regions of the western Mediterranean.

Geographical areas: Western Mediterranean - Alboran Sea - Algerian basin - Balearic Islands - North-western Mediterranean - FaSt-SWOT

Ocean variables: Ocean temperature ^(a) - Ocean colour ^(b) - Ocean currents ^(c) - Ocean surface stress ^(d)

Near real-time satellite products (distributed by the Copernicus Marine Service):

^(a) Sea surface temperature in the Mediterranean: daily L4 product (1/16º) and L3 product (1/16º) (Buongiorno Nardelli et al., 2013; Pisano et al., 2016)

^(b) Chlorophyll-a concentration in the Mediterranean: daily L4 product (1km) and L3 product (1km) (Volpe et al., 2018, 2019)

^(c) Sea level in the Mediterranean: daily L4 product (1/16º) (Ssalto/Duacs User Handbook, 2014)

^(d) Wind for the global ocean: hourly L4 product (1/8º)
